• Technology Planning and Strategy:

• Stay current with emerging technology trends in education and integrate best practices.

• Technology Infrastructure Management:

• Ensure reliable access to technology resources, including wired and wireless networks, student devices, and classroom technology tools.
• Assist with the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and upgrade of all district technology systems.
• Train and support staff on the effective use of the Skyward, providing guidance and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information. Utilize confidential and personal information for professional purposes only in accordance with school district policy and regulations.

• Technology Support and Operations:

• Ensure prompt and efficient technical support for students, teachers, and staff.
• Restore, retrieve, and/or repair lost or damaged files or databases; manage additional databases, import/export records as needed, add users and maintain records, manage permissions, add scripts, etc.
• Assist with the implementation of new systems, including hardware installation, software deployment, and technical troubleshooting.

• Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to technology, cybersecurity, and data privacy, including but not limited to FERPA, ISSRA, CIPA, and SOPPA
