Duties
Flossmoor School District 161 is seeking a Science teacher at Parker Junior High. This teacher will work with a collaborative Science Department to provide rigorous and engaging instruction. We aim to provide our students with an exceptional experience with high expectations for student growth and achievement!
Qualifications
Qualifications for the position include a Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in Education with prior teaching experience in Science in Grades 6-8 within the last ten (10) years or have taken a coursework, seminars or workshops relevant to Science – Grades 6-8 education in the last two (2) years. For certification, a valid Illinois Professional Educators License (PEL) with a Science endorsement for middle grades is required.
