Duties
Operate under our mission statement by providing comprehensive support to students and families. This includes preparing Social Developmental Studies for children with suspected or identified disabilities, participating in meetings like Problem Solving, Eligibility, and IEP meetings to interpret social/emotional assessment results and contribute to intervention planning. The social worker consults with district personnel on educational, behavioral, and vocational planning, and delivers direct individual and group counseling as outlined in IEPs. Additonally, provide interventions for regular education students when needed, assist parents in understanding their child's special education needs, and connect families with resources within the school system and community.
Qualifications
Must have a valid Illinois School Social Worker License

-Salary Range: $42,000-$78,000
-Board Paid TRS
