Share: Print: Duties Works collaboratively with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and parents Create schedules for daily student instruction and provide testing accommodations Develops and implements IEPs/BIPs in compliance with the IDEA and IL regulations Provides behavior interventions Provides academic interventions Participates in functional behavioral analysis and behavior intervention planning Possesses strong curricular knowledge related to programming for behavior and academic needs Directs instructional aides in implementation of accommodations and/or modifications Participates in the problem solving team process Provides progress monitoring and data collection to drive instructional decisions Demonstrates initiative, problem-solving skills and flexibility Maintains CPI certification Communicates regularly, appropriately, and successfully to engage families in the educational program Takes initiative to attend and actively participate in the school/district’s activities, committees, and events.
