Duties
Mendota District 289 is seeking a part-time Custodian to help ensure the cleanliness and safety of our campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the school are properly maintained. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing a safe and clean environment for our students. Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain the school building and grounds.
- Perform minor repairs to the school building.
- Moving school furniture
- Waxing floors
- Monitor the use of custodial supplies and equipment.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for students and staff.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
- Perform regular inspections of the school building and grounds.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent, job related experience preferred, good attention to detail, good attendance and punctuality. Bilingual Preferred.
