Duties
The Cissna Park C.U.S.D. 6 Board of Education is currently accepting applications for the position of junior high Science and Social Studies teacher. The individual employed for the position will provide science and social studies instruction to approximately seventy students in the junior high school.
Qualifications
Professional Educators License (PEL) issued by ISBE with appropriate endorsements
Salary/Benefits
Salary and Benefits will be paid through the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Cissna Park Education Association. A minimum salary of $40,500 with the Board picking up the entire employee contribution (9.89% of salary) into the Teachers' Retirement System, and paying 100% of the employee's single health insurance coverage through the Illinois Educators Risk Management Program (IERMP). Cissna Park is paying the full individual health benefit, currently equaling $770 per month ($9,240 annually) through the Illinois Educators Risk Management Program (carrier Blue Cross Blue Shield).
