Duties
The Assistant Principal/Dean relieves the principal of duties which hinder him/her from fulfilling his/her chief
responsibility of promoting the educational well-being of each student in the school.
Qualifications
A Master’s Degree
Valid certification as an administrator or supervisor
A minimum of five years of experience in the field of public education, including experience as a
classroom teacher
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
