Duties
A. Direct Service Duties: 1. Provide treatment to referred, diagnosed students to achieve improved educational development. 2. Assist in screening procedures to locate individuals who may need evaluations prior to receiving special education and/or other services. 3. Conduct occupational therapy evaluations, as part of case study evaluations and reevaluations, to determine appropriate interventions for improving student development. 4. Participate in conferences (multidisciplinary, IEP modification, annual review, and team) for students. 5. Participate in child find procedures to locate persons unserved or underserved who have special service needs.
B. Support Service Duties 1. Provide consultation to professionals and/or parents. 2. Participate in training, receiving and/or providing. 3. Participate in professional development.
C. Administrative Service Duties 1. Participate in personnel recruitment (interviewing and selecting) to acquire quality staff. 2. Utilize documenting procedures (reporting/record keeping forms and procedures) to improve the basis for service delivery decisions. 3. Participate in vertical and horizontal communication to facilitate total operations of the organization.
Qualifications
Master’s or Doctorate Degree
Occupational Therapist License
Ability to be a key team member
Ability to work well independently

Additional Notes
The CASE occupational therapy team is comprised of over 30 professionals providing services in 7 school districts. Our therapists have the opportunity to learn from each other and share best practices. It is a tight-knit and supportive team! Most of our therapists are assigned to a single school or district although there may be a traveling position available.
