Duties
Under the direction of the Director of Special Education, the School Social Worker will provide consultation for district students, staff, and parents regarding problems that interfere with the student's adjustment within the educational environment.
Qualifications
Current Illinois PEL with Social Worker endorsement. Experience as a School Social Worker preferred. Excellent communication skills with students, teachers, parents, and student resource team and a willingness to spend time to assure that such communication takes place.
Salary/Benefits
Starting Salary: $52K The work year for this position is 180 days. The District offers excellent fringe benefits, including life, health and dental insurance.
