Long Term Substitute Nurse (Approximately 10/13/2026-01/19/2027)
Description: School Nurse at Highland High School
Applicant must be willing to:
- Serve as a liaison and resource to the students, faculty, and community on health-related issues
- Implement the health regulations, policies, and procedures of the school district, Department of Public Health, and Department of Education
- Administer prescribed medication to students according to policy
- Perform skilled nursing procedures in a safe, competent, and effective manner
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Other nursing duties as assigned may be necessary
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and licensed as a registered nurse in Illinois (LPN); Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with Certified School Nurse endorsement (CSN) (preferred); Other professional nursing qualifications may be considered.

Salary:
Long Term Sub = $180/day
