Duties
Assist the classroom teacher by performing tasks to ease the flow of classroom activities. Tutoring student to increase their opportunity to learn and succeed academically. Assisting with student supervision.
Qualifications
Paraprofessional license for state of Illinois.
Associate’s degree or higher 60 semester hours of coursework. High School Diploma or GED and a score of 460 or higher on the ETS Parapro.
Salary/Benefits
Salary and benefits contingent upon experience and qualifications.
Benefits include District paid health, dental, and vision for employee. New employees will receive 12 sick days, 3 personal days, and 3 bereavement days. ESPs shall be provided paid holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Starting salary is $20.72 hourly.
