Duties

Iroquois West High School seeks a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our high school community. We are committed to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students, and we believe our special education program is an essential part of that mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid PEL with LBS1 Endorsement or working towards.
• Experience working with students with disabilities in a high school setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of IDEA and other relevant special education laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
• Proficiency in using technology to support instruction and assessment.

Salary/Benefits

• Per collective bargaining agreement
• $2,000 first year sign-on bonus
