Duties
Teaching: Classroom planning and instruction; assessment of student learning; communication and interpersonal skills; and support for the Lab School mission. Extracurricular duties as assigned. This position will teach in the Freshman Program. Essential
Teacher Education: Student teaching supervision under the direct supervision of a certified practicing clinician; clinical participation by providing opportunities for pre-service teacher involvement under controlled environment; and general participation by providing supervised participation for pre-service teachers in any instructional phase of the school program. Qualifications
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree
2. Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with an endorsement to teach Social Studies
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master's degree
2. Three years of teaching experience
3. Experience working with pre-service teachers
