Duties
All candidates must possess strong communication and organizational skills. Preference will be given to applicants who have knowledge and documented successful experiences related to the implementation of the following: the Illinois Learning Standards, Data Teams and Whole-Child Valuation, Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, Response to Intervention, and the Danielson Framework for Teaching.
Qualifications
Special Education Resource Teacher, candidate must possess a Professional Educator License with proper endorsement in Special Education/LBS1. Responsibilities include working directly with other certified Special Education and General Education teachers to plan for, coordinate responses to, and implement the management of student academic and social emotional needs to maintain a positive learning environment.
Salary/Benefits
The 2024-25 starting salary for a certified individual with a bachelor’s degree and zero years of experience is $40,970.64.
