Duties

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Project Director on the day-to-day operations of Project AWARE.
  • Attends required meetings, including those with the Project Director, the Superintendent, various school committees, student advisory, and other grant stakeholders.
  • Maintains communication with local, regional, and state educational staff regarding service needs.
  • Provides and maintains complete and timely documentation to support services rendered, including all required data for grants.
  • Demonstrate an understanding and acceptance of System of Care values and principles.
  • Responsibilities to Staff
    • Performs annual and semi-annual reviews for all staff to promote performance improvement and increase job satisfaction.
    • Assists in the recruitment, hiring, on-boarding, and management of school-based staff.
    • Promotes the retention of culturally competent, strengths-oriented personnel who possess an understanding of the communities served.
    • Conducts regularly scheduled staff meetings, including with the social-emotional learning team, wellness coach, and school resource officer.
  • Responsibilities to Service Provision
    • Ensures compliant, quality services are being delivered by utilizing data .
    • Promotes the interdisciplinary team by working closely with medical and school-based staff.
  • Acts as a liaison between the school and community providers and works closely with staff to promote services.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.
  • Follow confidentiality policies at all times.
  • Adheres to personnel policies and procedures.

Supervisory Relationships:

  • Work under the direct supervision of the Regional Office of Education Superintendent and Superintendent of Gallatin County School.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Excellent verbal and written skills, organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines and have conflict resolution and problem resolution skills.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Education or Human Services related field

Salary/Benefits

  • Required to work a minimum of 35 hours per week.
  • 260 Day Position.
  • Summer mandated training required.
  • $50,000 salary/year plus benefits.
