Duties
Duties:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Create and adapt lesson plans to meet the unique learning needs of each student
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in various subjects, including language arts, math, science, and social studies
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and techniques to engage students and promote their academic and social development
- Collaborate with other educators, parents, and professionals to ensure the success of each student
- Monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to instructional strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and behavior
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, acceptance, and understanding
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education
- Valid teaching certification
- Experience working with students with special needs, particularly in a classroom setting
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to develop and implement effective instructional strategies based on individual student needs
- Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning for diverse learners
- Classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment
