Duties
Lincoln is a Regional Safe School providing RSSP and TAEOP services. Lincoln School is seeking applicants with experience and/or passion to work with at-risk students and understand their unique learning styles and social/emotional needs. Must be organized, have strong communication skills and be able to multitask.
- Assumes responsibility for classroom/program cleanliness.
- Accepts responsibility for all non-instructional tasks planned by the educator
- Exhibits effective communication skills.
- Is systematic in record keeping as assigned by the educator.
- Maintains an open rapport with students.
- Makes efficient use of time.
- Takes appropriate initiative.
- Completes tasks on time.
- Demonstrates flexibility.
- Maintains confidentiality.
Qualifications
Applicant must be willing to apply for the Illinois State Board of Education Paraprofessional license.
- High school diploma (or equivalent), or higher
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 19 years of age to serve students in prekindergarten through grade 12.
