Duties

  1. Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for Preschool-5th grade children
  2. Create engaging lesson plans that promote learning and development
  3. Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  4. Conduct assessments to track children's progress and identify areas for improvement
  5. Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
  6. Utilize effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special education requirements
  7. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages social interaction and emotional development
  8. Incorporate literacy education into daily activities to promote language and communication skills
  9. Implement effective behavior management techniques to create a positive learning environment

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  2. Previous experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
  3. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
  5. Ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of all students
  6. Proficient in curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment strategies
  7. Familiarity with special education practices and techniques is a plus
  8. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
