Duties

L.E.A.S.E. is seeking a talented individual with the ability and desire to support student with disabilities with behavioral needs. 
Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments to assist the team in developing individualized Behavior Intervention Plans.
  • Assist in the implementation of Behavioral Intervention Plans.
  • Collect and summarized behavior data for the purpose of assessing and monitoring student progress
  • Provide modeling and feedback to educational staff in the implementation of evidence based behavioral and instructional practices.
  • Provide professional development trainings to educational staff on evidence based behavior management strategies and other topics as needed.
  • Develop transition plans for students returning to their home school districts.  Assist and coach districts with the implementation of these plans.
  • Provide support for districts seeking assistance with behavioral needs of students.
  • Actively participate on various educational teams to support proactive and responsive behavioral interventions to support students with challenging behaviors.

 
Qualifications:

  • Special Education, social worker, or school psychology degree required.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, or in process of obtaining.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with staff.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize and tasks for self and others.
  •  Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
  • Critical thinking skills and problem solving.
