Duties
Primary Responsibilities: Coordination of special education evaluations which includes IEP paperwork, IEP meetings, contacting parents and outside agencies, and administering assessments.
Secondary Responsibilities: Assisting and supporting the social emotional needs of students. This could be meeting with students one-on-one, in a group setting, crisis intervention, and social emotional supports as needed.
Qualifications
1. Master’s degree in Social Work
2. Proper license
3 Possession of a Type 73 School Service Personnel License approved by
the Illinois State Board of Education
4. Available for employment August, 2024
Salary/Benefits
1. The base salary for a Master’s Degree for the 2024-2025 school year is $42,928 (plus TRS and health insurance benefits, as agreed upon by the Dixon Education Association and the Board of Education.)
2. Fifteen (15) days per year sick leave.
3. Two (2) days personal leave per year.
