Paraprofessional

Duties

  • Assist student(s) with classroom activities under the direction of certified teacher
  • Assist with instructional modifications recommended by planning team
  • Check notebooks, correct papers and supervise testing and make-up work relevant to assigned student(s)
  • Assist with reading and math interventions
  • Participate in appropriate staff development programs
  • Assist teacher in duties related to the supervision of lunchroom, playground and bus activities
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor/designee

Qualifications

Paraprofessional license with ROE 13.  You can qualify for a license with at least 60 hours of college credit or have a high school diploma AND pass a paraprofessional exam
