Qualifications
Candidates must: be licensed in the state of Illinois to teach Industrial Technology or Agriculture; have the ability to work well with administration, staff, students and parents; be a positive influence on students and staff; and have strong organizational skills.
Salary/Benefits
Competitive, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Prairie Central will be negotiating a new contract for next school year. The state minimum teacher salary for FY25 is $44,000 with an added bonus at the end of the year. Actual salary will depend on negotiated wages taking into consideration experience and education. A sign-on bonus is available.
