Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that address state and local standards.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment. Foster a love of learning.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Maintain a safe and well-organized classroom environment.
  • Stay current with best practices in education and curriculum development.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative school environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
  • Certified to teach Elementary Education in Illinois (PEL).
  • Successful teaching experience. (Preferred) 
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills. (Preferred) 
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students. (Preferred) 
  • Proficiency in using technology to support instruction. (Preferred)
