Duties
Elwood School is currently seeking applications for a mid-year School Nurse vacancy. Elwood serves approximately 300 students in Pre-K through 8th grade; and is located on Rt. 66 in southern Will County. This is a 10 month, full-time position with some limited, additional work days over summer break.
Qualifications
Valid State of Illinois License to practice as a Registered Nurse
Certification in vision and hearing (preferred)
Previous professional nursing experience, preferably in schools or a pediatric setting
Ability to work effectively with school staff, students and parents/guardians
High level skills in oral and written communications
Salary/Benefits
Negotiable - Based on education/training and previous work experience
