Duties
Provide social and emotional supporty for students as needed. Provide groupd and individual sessions for students with IEPs. Provide classroom support, as needed, for BD/ED program. Overall, assist when students have crisis and need support. Collaborate with staff for professioanl development needs. Coordinate with parents for student and family supports. Contact and collaborate with agencies for support when needed.
Qualifications
Social work degree, MSW likely, and a Certificate in school social work is preferred. District is looking for the right person to join our team and we will work with the final candidate on certification requirements.
Salary/Benefits
Social Worker is on the salary schedule, per the CBA, plus an additional 10 days.
