  Job Description:
The Buildings and Grounds Summer Help will assist in the maintenance of grounds, including general landscaping, and grounds care.  The summer crew will assist with moving furniture at various sites.  They will also work side-by-side with custodial teams with stripping and waxing floors. They will help clean, move equipment and supplies at several school buildings to prepare for the beginning of the school year in the fall.  

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age;
• Hold a valid State of Illinois driver’s license;
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely fashion;
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team;
• Must be available to work from May 30, 2019, to August 9, 2019;
• Constant Moderate physical effort is required, and moving furniture and other equipment;
• Ability to life and push up to 50 pounds;
• Ability to read, speak, and communicate in English;
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Salary/Benefits

This position is temporary, with individuals working from June 5, 2023, through August 11, 2023.

Salary: $13.35 per hour.
Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
