Duties

Full time High School position teaching the Social Sciences in grades 9-12.

Qualifications

1. Valid Illinois Professional Educator License valid for 9-12 or 6-12 (social science endorsement preferred)
2. Experience working collaboratively with other teachers
3. Experience in flexible grouping, including small group and individual instructional practices
4. Cooperate in carrying out school and Regional Office policies and regulation
5. Demonstrate teaching skills necessary to perform duties, including maintaining classroom control, utilizing appropriate techniques and being knowledgeable about the subject
6. Use technology as a means to support the work of teachers and students
7. Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and community
