Qualifications:
Professional Educator License with Biology and Secondary Education endorsement.
Description:
PLANNING AND PREPARATION
Display solid understanding of the various approaches to learning that different students exhibit.
Integrate district curricular goals and objectives in plans to promote student learning.
Understand and utilize resources available through the school and the district
CLASSROOM ENVIRONMENT
Maintain a culture of high expectations.
Establish a classroom of rules and procedures in accordance with the student handbook.
INSTRUCTION
Display content knowledge and implement current best pedagogical practices.
Engage in reflective practices to improve instruction.
Provide additional support for struggling students.
Utilize formative and summative assessments to improve student learning.
PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand and support the District Strategic Plan.
Adhere to provisions outlined in the contractual agreement and administrative directives.
Collaborate with content teams.
Communicate honestly and frequently in a professional manner with parents/guardians about the progress of their student.
Be actively involved in school/district events and projects.
Participate in professional development to enhance content knowledge and pedagogical skill.
Complete all requests and reports on time and in a professional manner.
