Duties

• Individual aide provides one-on-one support for a student and follows the students’ Individualized Education Plan
• Provide academic, emotional, and social support for special education students in a regular education classroom or special education classroom
• Monitor student behavior and redirect students as necessary.
• Must be a team player
• Contribute to and support curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.
• Cooperate with teachers of all departments to support a collaborative school culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to assume responsibility without direct supervision
• Paraprofessional Certification or willing to obtain

Salary/Benefits

Salary will be based off of the district salary schedule and years of experience
