Duties

• Develop a strong professional rapport and maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to effective learning
• Create and adjust learning scopes and sequences
• Maintain accurate and complete records as required by the Illinois School Code, district policy and administrative request
• Provide input in the selection of books, equipment and other instructional materials

Qualifications

• Illinois secondary education license with an endorsement of World Languages - Spanish or the ability to obtain it.
• Ability to teach Spanish I, II, III, and IV.  
• The successful candidate will be committed to providing high-quality instruction for all students and be adept with collaborating with district leadership and high school staff to promote academic success and transition to post-secondary or the workforce.
