Share: Print: Duties Work with struggling readers by supporting, supplementing and extending classroom instruction inside or outside of the regular classroom Support classroom instruction by assisting teachers as they implement best practices in reading and writing in their classrooms Understand the theory and evidence-based foundations of reading and writing Use instructional approaches, materials, and an integrated, comprehensive, balanced curriculum to support student learning in reading and writing Support teachers with instructional interventions Help coordinate reading MTSS data and support staff in making data-based instructional decisions for students Qualifications Teaching experience in multiple grade levels preferred. Must hold a Valid Illinois State Certificate Reading Interventionist Endorsement Demonstrates the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and team members.
