Duties
To be the athletic director for South Fulton Sports. South Fulton is a Coop between VIT CUSD #2 and Astoria CUSD#1. The AD is responsible for scheduling games, scheduling officials and gate workers, and ordering athletic supplies. The AD also assist with game supervision, hiring of coaches, and works with boosters and administrators to provide enrolled students an opportunity to participate in an extracurricular and/or cocurricular activities that will foster appropriate skills, a sense of worth and competence,
Qualifications
Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree and Illinois Teacher Licensure or eligibility.
2. Active Illinois Administrative Licensure.
3. Previous coaching and/or administrative leadership experience preferred.
4. Background in facility and program scheduling, extracurricular activities, and personnel management
Salary/Benefits
The South Fulton Athletic director is a stipend position based on 10% of the base salary of the VIT and/or Astoria school district
Additional Notes
The South Fulton Coop is an 1A sports program and is a member of the Prairieland Conference
