General Duties

1. To assist in maintaining a high quality of services for students, staff, parents, and community members who utilize the services assigned to this position.

2. To assist the immediate supervisor in carrying out the duties assigned to that position.

3. To strive for positive and collegial public relations with the staff, students, parents, and community members.

4. To maintain confidentiality in all areas assigned to this position.

5. To act as a role model for students and staff and to provide leadership in the areas assigned to this position.



1. A master's degree from an accredited college or university.

2. A Professional Educator License with a General Administrative K-12 endorsement and a Director of Special Education endorsement.

3. At least five years' experience in education, three of which should have been at the high school level in administration, including the evaluation of certified staff.

4. Demonstrated success akin to those listed below.

5. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

6. ELL Endorsement preferred.


Salary to be established by the Board of Education.

The performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on the evaluation of professional personnel.
