Duties
Norwood Primary School is looking for a potential Kindergarten teacher for the 2026-27 school year. This position will involve teaching Kindergarten students in a self-contained classroom. The candidate for this position will work in a team with other teachers. You must be able to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in an elementary learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. Norwood Primary School serves around 180 PreK-3 students on the border of Peoria, IL, and rural Illinois. We are looking for a motivated teacher that will be the right fit for our students.
Qualifications
PEL that allows you to teach kindergarten.
Salary/Benefits
Per the negotiated contract.
Additional Notes
Science of Reading background a plus.
