Duties
The School District of Beloit has an opening for Special Education Para Educators These positions are for 7 hours a day. These are full time/permanent positions based on 183 days per year. Candidates should have experience working with children from diverse backgrounds, demonstrate flexibility, patience, and be able to work as part of a team. Required qualifications: High School diploma or GED, an Associate’s degree, or forty eight (48) credits, or proof of successful completion of a WI DPI approved assessment (ACT WorkKeys, ParaPro-Assessment ETS, or ParaEducator Master Teacher). A high school diploma is necessary, but not sufficient. Candidate must hold or be willing to obtain the Wisconsin Para-educator license. Rate of pay is $16.76/hour. Start date is: August 28, 2024. 7. Able to list at least 50 lbs.
