As a STEM Teacher, you’re not just maximizing the learning experience of students in a safe and optimal learning environment. You’re making a difference in helping students tap into their creativity while solving complex design issues.
Your curriculum doesn’t stop with academics – it encompasses supporting our students with developing their social emotional skills as well. You overcome obstacles, address students’ specific needs, and solve problems with creativity. You’ll be an integral part of our electives/specials team and school district as a whole.
Qualifications
What You Bring
You bring both heart and expertise to your work – along with the professional preparation to support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs. Professional Credentials. An active Illinois Professional Educator License with a STEM, Math or Science endorsement, ensuring you’re ready to serve students with a wide range of abilities.
Educational Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field from an accredited college or university, providing a strong foundation in effective teaching practices.
Instructional Expertise
A deep understanding of instructional principles, learning theories, assessment practices, and evidence-based strategies that help students thrive academically and developmentally.
Communication
The ability to communicate with clarity, empathy, and professionalism – building trust with students, families, and colleagues.
Collaboration
A collaborative mindset that allows you to build positive working relationships across classrooms, teams, and the broader school community.

Salaries start over $48,000 from Bachelors through Masters levels, ensuring your professional growth is reflected in your pay.
