Duties
Teaching at appropriate levels of difficulty for seventh and eighth grade biological science and Earth science. Assessing student progress and determining the need for additional reinforcement or adjustments to instructional plans/techniques/goals. Teaching specific learning objectives. Employing various teaching techniques, methods and principles of learning to best the needs of students and district learning outcomes. Using appropriate instructional technology to enhance student learning. Develop lesson plans that meet the state standards and school curriculum. Organizes classroom supplies and materials. Maintains a proper learning environment.
Qualifications
Candidate must hold valid professional educators licensure (PEL) in the state of Illinois with science and middle school endorsements.
Salary/Benefits
In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Lockport District 91 Board of Education and the Lockport District 91 Teachers' Association.
