Duties
The School District of Beloit has openings for Substitute Para Educators. Substitutes are an important resource for the School District of Beloit. They provide our students with the opportunity to continue learning while a staff member is out of the classroom. We use an automated sub calling system that lets you set your own schedule! These are temporary on call/as needed positions with no benefits. Candidates should have experience working with children from diverse backgrounds, demonstrate flexibility, patience, and be able to work as part of a team. Required qualifications: High School diploma or GED, an Associate’s degree, or forty eight (48) credits, or proof of successful completion of a WI DPI approved assessment (ACT WorkKeys, ParaPro-Assessment ETS, or Para Educator Master Teacher). Candidate must hold or be willing to obtain the Wisconsin Para-educator license. Rate of pay is: $13.53 per hour. Start date is: ASAP. Minority and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
