Qualifications
Applicant must have a valid Illinois Professional Educator License with the required endorsements.
Salary/Benefits
Base salary is dependent upon experience and the salary schedule. Other benefits include: 12 sick days, 3 personal days, 2 bereavement days, up to 2 professional leave days, $5000 toward health insurance, and reimburses $175 per credit hour for approved college coursework.
Additional Notes
Edinburg is a true gem in the education field. The proximity itself is ideal in that the school is located just outside of Springfield/Rochester on one side and Taylorville on the other while being easily accessible to both Decatur and I55. Our staff is comprised of both community residents and those that have a short commute in from these neighboring areas. Our current HS enrollment is approximately 80 students which allows our teachers to truly get to know and understand our students. The Edinburg parents and community are extremely supportive and forward thinking.
