CDL with school bus passenger endorsement.
Salary/Benefits
Regionally competitive. New Driver Incentive Program.
Sign-On/Retention Incentive
$1,000 Sign-On for all *NEW bus route drivers with a hire date on or after March 1, 2022.
o 25% of this incentive is paid after successful training/licensure
o 25% of this incentive is paid after the driver’s 90-day probation period
o 50% of this incentive is paid after the driver’s 1-year work anniversary
- NOTE: Driver must work 250+ hours within the first year to qualify.
Attendance Incentive
Bus drivers who have perfect attendance, one absence or two absences for a given school year will be awarded an attendance incentive. Only daily route drivers are eligible for this incentive. An absence is defined as a missed scheduled route (AM,PM,Midday) for any reason.
o $300 awarded for perfect attendance
o $200 awarded for those with only 1 absence
o $100 awarded for those with only 2 absences
Recruiting Incentive
District staff members who recruit a *NEW bus route driver will be eligible for $300.
o 25% of this incentive is paid after successful training/licensure of the driver
o 25% of this incentive is paid after the new driver’s 90-day probation period
o 50% of this incentive is paid after the driver’s completion of 1 year of continuous service
