Duties
1) Assists supervising Occupational Therapist in collecting data for evaluations, creating and updating goals/objectives, and attending IEP meetings if needed.
2) Provides student intervention, monitors and modifies the intervention plan based on student need, and provides teacher/classroom collaboration and training.
3) Maintains communication with supervising occupational therapist regarding any changes in student status/needs.
4) Provides equipment for students as needed to facilitate access to and participation in the school environment.
5) Maintains accurate student documentation including case notes, goal progress monitoring, Medicaid billing, and updated physician scripts.
6) Maintains professionalism and strict confidentiality.
Qualifications
Licensed as a Occupational Therapy Assistant in Illinois
