Duties

• Creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate program for young children. 
• Plan and implement classroom learning activities. 
• Supervise children inside and outside, including, but not limited to, bus duty, recess, field trips, classroom activities, and lunchroom.  
• Maintain accurate records. 
• Assessment and evaluation of learning. 
• Preparation of materials for use in the program. 
• Maintain an orderly learning environment. 
• Identification of and attention to children's health and hygiene. 
• Providing individual and small-group instruction in learning activities. 
• Communicating with parents. 
• Maintain strict confidentiality of student records and data.

Qualifications

Must have valid Professional Educator License endorsed in Early Childhood Education or Gateways Level 5 Credential.  

Salary/Benefits

Salary starts at $41,000 plus benefits.

Additional Notes

This position is for 180 school calendar days with hours of 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
