Duties
The individual in this position is responsible for counseling students in grades K& 1. The counselor will work with students, parents, and teachers to ensure that academic, social, and developmental needs are met. The counselor will meet with students individually and in groups. The counselor will visit classrooms to present lessons dealing with social-emotional topics. The counselor will assist in the scheduling of events and leading PBIS within the building. Knowledge about Response to Intervention and the ability to speak Spanish is highly desirable.
Qualifications
Master's degree in school counseling from an accredited college or university. Meet the certification requirements as set forth by the Illinois State Board of Education. Individuals with accreditation in Social Work are encouraged to apply.
Salary/Benefits
As set in the Monmouth-Roseville Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Lincoln Early Learning School is located in Monmouth, IL. Monmouth is located in west central Illinois one hour south of the Quad Cities.
