Duties

-Design and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.  

-Monitor and assess student learning through assignments, tests, and projects, offering timely feedback and support.

-Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes participation and a passion for learning.

-Work collaboratively with colleagues to strengthen the math curriculum and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

-Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.

-Communicate clearly with students, parents, and administrators regarding academic progress and concerns.

Qualifications

  • Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Math endorsement as required by the Illinois State Board of Education.
  • Or willing to obtain a Math endorsement;
  • Or bachelors degree in a related field with willingness to obtain licensure.

Salary/Benefits

Regionally competitive as per collective bargaining agreement. Benefits include: board paid single health insurance and board paid TRS, tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities.  We will give years and education.

Salary Range w/board paid TRS: $45,630 - $74,575.55 based on experience and education

Benefits : Board Paid $25,000 Life Insurance and Board Paid $550 towards Individual Health Insurance.  Board will pay an additional $100 for employees that choose  Employee+Spouse or Employee+Child and an additional $200 for employees that choose  Employee + Family.
