Duties
Virginia Jr Sr High School is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to join our special education program. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualized instruction and support to students, managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and collaborating with staff and families to ensure the best possible educational outcomes.
Qualifications
Professional Education License in Illinois with LBS1 endorsement or willingness to obtain certification.
Salary/Benefits
The employment package for positions will be commensurate with the collectively bargained agreement that can be viewed on the Virginia CUSD 64 website.
Subject to administrative approval, the District provides tuition reimbursement for approved continuing education coursework taken through an appropriately accredited college/university. Reimbursement is limited to approved coursework that supports legal qualification for additional ISBE certifications/endorsements or other approved graduate coursework.
