Duties
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Instructional leadership of the educational programming for grades 6-12
- Cultivates a positive school culture that values collaboration, respect and continuous improvement among staff, students and parents
- Engages with students to inspire each to strive for their best potential
- Facilitates and promotes professional growth for faculty and staff through performance evaluations
- Promotes student success by overseeing curriculum development and instructional strategies that meet the diverse needs of learners
- Collaborates with the administrative team and athletic director to dedicate some time to the supervision of extracurricular activities and events
Qualifications
Minimum of a M.S. in school administration with a valid Illinois Professional
Educator License (PEL) with a Principal Administrative Endorsement.
Salary/Benefits
The anticipated starting base salary range for this position is $73,000–$83,000, dependent upon relevant experience. Benefits include 20 days of vacation leave, 12 days of sick leave, 3 personal days, Board-paid TRS, and a Board-paid portion of individual health insurance.
