Duties
Teach students at Unity High School and/or middle school in co-taught and instructional settings. Establish positive, professional relationships with students, parents, staff, and administration at Unity. Create student-centered classroom environment where instruction is differentiated and students are highly engaged in learning. Use 1:1 program to engage students and assess their learning. Serve as case manager for students.
Qualifications
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License in Illinois endorsed in Special Education.
A desire to make a difference in young lives.
The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues toward continuous improvement.
Demonstration of a positive, growth-oriented mindset.
Salary/Benefits
Salary and benefits are regionally competitive and conform to the current teachers' contract salary schedule with reference to experience and education.
