Duties
NDSEC is seeking as its Director of Business and Operations a sound fiscal manager with the ability to manage a budget and fiscal resources wisely with a thorough understanding of special education finance issues, including local, state, and federal funding resources and reimbursements, and experience in developing budgets and grants. NDSEC is a Special Education legal entity joint agreement of nine member school districts in north DuPage County.
Qualifications
- Experience in School Business Office or Setting
- Degree in Education, Business Management or Accounting Preferred:
- ISBE Professional Educator License
- ISBE General Administrative Endorsement
- ISBE Chief School Business Official Endorsement
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in business management or accounting
Salary/Benefits
Compensation and Benefits: $115,000 -$135,000 salary range. Benefits include board paid health, dental and life insurance; board paid TRS and THIS; Optional benefits include employee paid vision, 403(b), Flexile Spending Account (FSA), Health Spending Account (HSA), AFLAC.
