Duties
The NIA D/HH Program is in search of two Teachers of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing for Total Communication self-contained classrooms. Job responsibilities include developing language, communication, and self-advocacy skills with students of various abilities; developing and implementing IEPs; developing and implementing lesson plans within the classroom; collaborating with the NIA and district staff and communicating effectively with families.
Qualifications
Professional Educator License (PEL) with Deaf/Hard of Hearing Endorsement
Must be fluent in Sign Language.
Salary/Benefits
Full-time, 182 days, 7.0 hours/day
Salary based upon experience and qualifications
