Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a full range of school counseling services including screening and assessment, individual and group counseling with students, school staff, and outside agencies as appropriate for students in grades K-8. The selected candidate will also serve as part of the school behavior intervention RtI team, function as the McKinney Vento liaison, and help students with Social/Emotional Learning goals per students' IEPs.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should hold a master's degree in school social work and meet the certification requirements for school social worker from the Illinois State Board of Education.
Salary/Benefits
Successful candidate will be placed on the current salary schedule per the DeSoto Education Association contract.
